Four types of sensors for enhanced safety
The ADAS platform, known as Fisker Intelligent Pilot, combines four types of sensors: an industry-leading surround-view camera suite, a camera-based driver-monitoring system, ultrasonic technology, and a Digital-Imaging Radar System, which Fisker expects to be the first to market when the Fisker Ocean goes into production in November 2022.

The Fisker Ocean digital radar special features
The Fisker Ocean’s cameras are obtained from one of the industry’s top vendors and provide next-generation vision capabilities, including a front-facing 8-megapixel sensor with the greatest quality presently available in a vehicle. The 360-degree camera system uses established technology that has been installed in tens of millions of cars across the world to recognize basic objects.
Five units positioned around the Fisker Ocean confirm and improve what the cameras view, thanks to Fisker’s industry-first Digital Code Modulation-based radar technology.
