The P400e Plug-in Electric Hybrid: More Range, Better Performance
At the forefront of the F-PACE lineup is the P400e, which continues to be the flagship of the F-PACE’s electrified powertrains. For the 2024 Model Year, the P400e boasts a bigger lithium-ion battery pack, with nine modules instead of eight, giving it an energy storage capacity of 19.2 kWh.
This increase in storage capacity has boosted the electric-only range from up to 33 miles (53 km) to a maximum of 40 miles (65 km), an increase of more than 20%. This enhancement has also led to a reduction in CO2 emissions and fuel consumption, with emissions starting at just 37 g/km and fuel efficiency reaching up to 176.6 mpg (1.6 L/100 km).
The P400e’s combined output of 404 PS and 640 Nm of torque means that it can go from 0-60 mph in just 5.0 seconds (0-100 km/h in 5.3 seconds), making it both efficient and incredibly fast.
The P400e is now available in more markets than ever before, including Japan and Singapore, and already accounts for more than one in ten F-PACE sales globally. In countries where electrified vehicles are especially popular, such as the Netherlands, this share is expected to reach as high as 98%.
“As we make progress to reimagine Jaguar to an all-electric luxury brand by 2025, we have been curating our existing products by offering richer and more desirable specifications. The first nameplate to receive this change was F-TYPE as we move towards 2023 and celebrate 75 years of Jaguar sports cars. We now move to F-PACE, an SUV that offers an unrivalled balance of ride, handling, refinement and luxury.
By Increasing the range of the P400e plug-in electric hybrid by more than 20 per cent, it becomes an even more attractive combination of performance, efficiency and zero-tailpipe emissions driving capability, and that’s something we’re very proud of,” explained Philip Koehn, Managing Director of Jaguar.
Simplified Lineup with Enhanced Features
For all F-PACE customers worldwide, there is now a simplified, more focused model range. Non-R-Dynamic vehicles are no longer offered, streamlining the customer experience while providing even better specifications.
The R-Dynamic S, SE, and HSE models come with 19-, 20-, and 21-inch wheels, respectively, with a choice of diamond-turned or black finishes (and the option for self-sealing tires). The 400 SPORT model now has 22-inch forged wheels with a gloss silver finish and diamond-turned contrast inserts.
One of the standout features of the F-PACE is the Black Pack, which is now standard on all models from the R-Dynamic SE to the SVR. This pack includes a gloss black finish on the door mirror caps, grille, grille surround, window surrounds, fender vents, rear valance, and rear badges. The R-Dynamic grille badge has also been updated with a contemporary black and grey design.
Luxury and Technology Abound in The Jaguar F-PACE
The luxurious and spacious interior of the F-PACE has even more technology than before. The R-Dynamic S model now features the new TFT Digital Driver Display, with a two-dial configuration that offers media or navigation in the center panel. Wireless device charging is standard on the R-Dynamic SE.
Every model in the F-PACE lineup comes with the fast and intuitive Pivi Pro infotainment system, which offers seamless connectivity through wireless Apple CarPlay, Wireless Android Auto, integrated Alexa voice control, and what3words navigation. Pivi Pro, along with other systems throughout the vehicle, is always up-to-date thanks to software-over-the-air updates.
